I was really excited about this one, but once again my inking skills pretty much killed it. The sketch was much more fluid and flowing. It feels very heavy how that it's been coloured. I may redo this later.
Have you read Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor? I saw this and instantly thought of that book.The fluidity is weighed down, but sometimes the contrast works well, like it does here. red and blue, heavy and weightless.

ReplyDeleteI have not, but I will look into it. It sounds lovely. I was going for a weight with the water. I am very glad it translated.
