The Arsenal

I have to say, this is one of my favourite pieces that I have ever drawn. The composition is a lot different than what I usually do. It feels good to branch out. Some of the likeness is a little bit off on some of the players (mainly Walcott I think) and some other small details. I tried to colour it digitally but my computer crashed. I hope to finish it soon.

Scan 34

I really need to practice drawing women more. The boxes are ill arranged in this. Oh well.

Remember

Anxiety AND short term memory loss. I AM SUCH A CATCH

Useful

It has come to my attention that I possess only the utmost essential skills.
Just kidding I am a useless person.

L'Absente

I don't usually draw this kind of romantic stuff, but listening to Yann Tiersen has put me in the mood to do so. I think it came out nice. But as usual I am much more fond of the sketch than I am the finished work. The story is of an ancient Greek soldier dying by his love.

1/3 Head Sculpture

An assignment for my sculpture class this semester. All of my hard work in studying facial anatomy is starting to pay off. I am not much of a sculptor, but I am posting this in an attempt to be proud of myself for trying something new.

Tree

I really need to work on thinking of good title. This was a piece that didn't make it into the show I have coming up. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. It was a lot of fun to work on.

Facial Expressions

Been sketching with a skinny sharpie recently. It's been nice to loosen up. I'm trying to keep up on doing artwork outside of assignments and the pieces I have been making for a show coming up. I would like to get better at drawing facial expressions in the future.

I'm Not Contagious

Still messing around with watercolours. This time with loose ink pen! This has a lot of emotion to it, I think. Which is a change up from my usual stuff.

Chin Up

Messing around with watercolours. I like how it came out.

The Wall

A sketch I did sort of trying to emulate when an athlete hits "the wall". The posing looks a little funky.

Nat King Cole

Something sentimental. I grew up listening to Nat King Cole and I continue to listen to him while I work. He is truly an amazing entertainer.

Hairstand

Doing more female figure practice. I need a lot more work.

House Sitting

A half unfinished little something. I sort of gave up on it. Maybe eventually I will redo it.

Rain

It's raining today.

Bleeding Street Beetle

Not really sure why I drew this. I am just messing around with markers.

Sneeze

This is how absolutely boring my life is. I literally made a comic page centered around how I sneezed at the library today. Am I the only one who thinks that sneezing at the library is extremely awkward?
Originally this was supposed to be a full page but the two remaining bottom panels weren't working so I scrapped them. I am going to try to work on doing full pages more often displaying some sort of action. It's time to grow up.
