Nicklas Bendtner sketch 2
Decently happy with this one. I tried drawing Wilshere for about... two hours and then gave up for the day. I'll try again tomorrow. I love Bendtner and will continue to follow him even if he doesn't stay on Arsenal ( I do hope he stays, though).

Street Beetle Graffiti
I'm thinking I'm going to redo this later on. Possibly digitally. I like the idea and the posing but something about it just didn't seem to work. Oh well. Here's another street version of the Blue Beetle.

Laurent Koscielny sketch 2
Finally getting back on track. It took me about a week to adjust to my new college schedule but I think I got the hang of it. I'm pretty happy with this. I think there are some minor issues with the left eye but other than that I think it's pretty solid. I really enjoyed drawing the structure of Koscielny's face. Gooner till I die.

Street Question
Not super happy with this one. I think the colours sort of got away from me on the design. Here's my design for the street version of The Question.

Street Miracle
I honestly have no idea why I keep making these. I like how this one turned out. There are some errors but, eh, whatever. It's the weekend. Anyway this is my street design for Mister Miracle. He's one of my favourite superheroes.

Henri Lansbury sketch 3
Out of all of the Lansbury drawings I've done, this one's my favourite. I really like how it came out. The scanner made it a bit lighter than I would've liked though. I wish Lansbury luck on his start against Manchester United!

Johan Djourou sketch
I'll be honest, I'm really frustrated with this one. There are a lot of errors. Most of them are in the face once again. I was really hoping to make this one good since I am a huge fan of Djourou. Oh well. I'll try to update more often!

Henri Lansbury sketch 2
I kind of feel "eh" about this one. There's a lot of things I really like about it and a lot of things that really bother me still. Once again, the face could have been more accurate. The eyes were really giving me trouble.

Street Beetle
This is an old design/concept I did for Blue Beetle a few years back. I thought it was a good design so I decided to redo it now that I can draw male anatomy a bit better. I can't say I'm super happy with how it came out. I need to buy a new set of markers with more tones.

Theo Walcott sketch
This sketch gave me some major trouble. I ended up giving up on it last night and finishing it today (hence why I didn't post yesterday). I'm actually pretty happy with the result though. I will try to keep up on posting daily but I have started college and it will definitely be hard to keep up.

Nicklas Bendtner sketch
So as some of you might have figured out by now, I'm doing Arsenal sketches daily but... in a different way. I'm not doing them in a particular order (just my favorite players) and I am only doing full body or close to full body drawings. This is to help me get better at drawing figures. I'm pretty happy with this one. The face isn't quite as accurate as I'd like but I think I got the movement down. Exciting!

Daft Punk sketch
I gotta say... this came out pretty great. There are a few minor mess ups but other than that I think everything came out proportioned correctly. I love Daft Punk. Their music always gets me in the mood to draw. Enjoy!

Laurent Koscielny sketch
This one got a little wonky on me. The legs look a little short because I couldn't quite get the angles right. The face isn't as accurate as I'd like either. I'm pretty happy with how the torso and arms came out though. All in all, it was a really good practice. I'm learning a lot by stepping out of my comfort of doing portraits.

Aaron Ramsey NT sketch
I realize this is my third post today. Oh well, I'm in the mood to draw. This is a sketch of Aaron Ramsey in his Whales NT kit. I'm pretty happy with how this came out. The face is pretty accurate. The only place that really feel short is the hands. I'll get the hang of them eventually. The clothing looks a bit flat as well. This was a good practice though!

Bastian Schweinsteiger NT sketch
Schweinsteiger is one of my favourite footballers of all time. I don't get to draw him nearly enough. Since I had a little extra time today I decided to do a quick sketch. It turned out better than I expected and am going to try to colour it very soon.

Arsenal cards: Nicklas Bendtner
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #52. I have to say, I'm pretty happy with how this came out. I don't know if anyone noticed but I didn't post yesterday, mainly because I was very sick and have been having some problems with my wrist again. I am feeling a lot better now. This is supposed to be the last player I do but I'm going to go back and do some of the new players like Gervinho. After I finish with those I'll be doing fullbody sketches. I might even start those today. I'm so excited. This project has helped me improve so much.

Arsenal cards: Craig Eastmond and Henri Lansbury
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #40 and #46. I'm pretty happy with these. Especially the Lansbury one. I think I'm finally getting the hang of these Prismacolour markers.

Arsenal cards: Ryo Miyaichi and Emmanuel Frimpong
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #31 and #35. I had to start Miyaichi's drawing from the start but I had a lot of fun with him. He's very fun to draw. In all I'm pretty happy with both of these aside from some minor inking errors. More Arsenal cards on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Arsenal cards: Marouane Chamakh and Armand Traore
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #29 and #30. I'm not especially happy with either of these. I think they came out decently. The sketches were more accurate to the features.
Art belongs to me.
Arsenal cards: Emmanuel Eboue and Kieran Gibbs
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #27 and #28. Words cannot describe the amount of frustration I have toward Eboue's card. It just wouldn't turn out right. No matter how many times I tried. Eventually I will redo it. I like how Gibb's sketch came out though. I think I got the shading down really nicely on this one.

Aaron Ramsey (markers)
I can't say I'm super happy with how this turned out. I really liked the sketch and I just don't think it translated as well as it could have. It's been a looong time since I've done grayscale in markers. Oh well.

Arsenal cards: Vito Mannone and Carl Jenkinson
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #24 and #25. I'm actually pretty happy with these. I had to start the Jenkinson one from scratch and sketch it out and then colour it. It was a bit more work but I think it came out pretty alright.

Bouncing Bomb
Here's some non-Arsenal related art. The first one is an old sketch I did that is inspired by the Taurus Zodiac sign. I have been attempting to colour it for a few months now. Even after several attempts I'm not very happy with it, but at least it's done. The second is a sort concept for a football inspired superhero. I like where it's going. I'm considering naming him something like "Striker". The anatomy on both drawings is kind of wonky. I'm glad I'm at least getting practice in.
Art belongs to me.
Also, the title has absolutely nothing to do with the drawings. I just couldn't think of a title so I used the title of a Twisted Wheel song.

Arsenal cards: Lukasz Fabianski and Andrey Arshavin
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #21 and #23. Can't say I'm terribly happy with these. I had an off day because of an allergic reaction to some bites so I think it threw me off colouring wise. Oh well.

Bonus Arsenal sketch: Conor Henderson
Here's a bonus sketch of player #44. I love Henderson! I've been meaning to draw him for quite awhile. I'm decently happy with how this turned out.

Arsenal cards: Jack Wilshere and Johan Djourou
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #19 and #20. I had a lot of fun with these! I think they turned out pretty well besides some inking troubles in the beginning. I cannot tell you how pleased I am to be getting such good feedback. :) I'm taking the weekend but will continue posting on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Arsenal cards: Aaron Ramsey and Alex Song
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #16 and #17. I am still exhausted. Not terribly happy with these, but not unhappy with them enough to redo them. I might redo Ramsey later. This is still proving harder than I though.

Det Var Jag
I thought this sketch would be a good practice for coloring, and it was. I'm decently happy with how it turned out. Some things are a little funky but eh. I'm not sure if I like this or the sketch better.

Arsenal cards: Carlos Vela, Wojciech Szczesny and Theo Walcott
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #11, #13 and #14. I am exhausted. I still wanted to get all of these done today despite everything I had going on. I'm actually pretty happy with all of them. More tomorrow.

Arsenal cards: Robin van Persie
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #10. I had a really rough day today. Although I'm happy with how this one turned out, I'm having loooots of trouble with Vela's. I decided to put his off till tomorrow for when I've gotten a full nights sleep. I will be submitting 3 tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Arsenal cards: Tomas Rosicky and Samir Nasri
Continuing on with my challenge to colour each Arsenal sketch. Here's players #7 and #8. Suuuuper rusty from my trip. Not used to the sensitivity of my inking pen at all. I'm not super happy with these. At this point I'm just happy I had enough energy to finish both of them.
