Friend drawing

Here are some drawings of some friends. Most of them are drawings of them drawing, which is pretty fun. None of them posed so some of them are more composite-y.

Rain at the Train Stop

I need to draw more of what I see when I'm travelling. I love drawing things that I see.

Classmates

Some more stuff from my sketchbook.

Seated Pose

The editing on this came out really funky since I don't have a proper version of photoshop on my new computer. Anyway, this is a 5 minute pose from my life drawing class last semester. I always enjoy life drawing. I am trying to look back on things I enjoy drawing so that I can get back in the swing of drawing.

Hairstand

Doing more female figure practice. I need a lot more work.

Male Gestures

A couple of quick gestures I did last semester in my life drawing class. The first one was done during an actual 3 minute pose and the second one was done while the model was sitting and reading. I had more marker gestures that I really liked, but I can't seem to find them.

Female Quick Sketch

Just a quick practice of the female figure. It was during a gesture portion of a class, so the pose was only about a minute. It took me awhile to get the hang of using watercolour for gestures, but I came to really enjoy it. Anyway, this was my favourite out of all of the gestures.

Мой город

This is one of my finals. Unfortunately I don't have a real camera, so I had to use my crappy phone camera. I am decently happy with this but I liked it better before I coloured it with watercolour. The background images are both of Moscow.

Nathan

A classmate of mine kindly allowed me to take a photo to use as a reference. This was a very good practice in both perspective and hands. I'm not particularly happy with the how the hands ended up turning out, but I think the rest of it came out alright.
