Face Drawing Process

I decided to make a video of my process of drawing faces with markers. It's apart of my 100 self portrait challenge. This is generally how I work. It's a self portrait from life using a mirror. Enjoy!

Warmup 1

Things have been busy and hectic lately. I haven't really had time to draw and today when I sat down I felt pretty rusty. I drew some nonsensical stuff just to get loose. This was one of them.

Podolski

More photoshop sketching. It's helping me understand how I should ink a bit better. I'm enjoying it a lot! This one hurts a big because of the contrast but I think it suits Podolski in a way.

Lora Sketch

Messing around more in photoshop. I'm liking it so far and I'm starting to understand why a lot of people use digital tools. Although it's easier, I'm still missing a lot of the tactile stuff I rely on. Anyway, this is drawn from a photo of a beatiful girl.

I Can Take Him

I'm not really sure what the theme is for this one. I just started drawing and it turned into some sort of weird punk fighting thing. I enjoyed sketching digitally quite a bit.

Jag Kommer

A stress relief sketch I did in between doing some comic sketching. Things have been hard lately, but I'm hoping it'll start looking up soon. I am still struggling to figure out how to make my scanned images have the same look as the original.

Punk Roman Soldier

Stark

Still practicing inking. I coloured this with watercolours but I wasn't happy with it at all. I thought I'd try drawing an older man with longer hair for once.

Just a simple ink practice since I am now gearing up to start on my comic again and want it to be better quality of inking.

I apologize in advance if this somehow offends any of my followers. Lately I've been listening to a lot of rap and R&B just to take a break from my usual music. As a result most of my sketches have been like this. I have a collection of other ones I may finish up more like this one. I had a lot of fun doing this one.
